Mom & Tot Class FUN!

We been keeping busy with art classes & parties at the Potting Shed Art Studio. Mom-tot art class is on Tuesday & Wednesday mornings (there are a few spots open in each class). Classes are for toddlers & kids ages 18 mos-5 years old. Projects are easy with simple instruction & kids have fun painting, coloring & drawing. They are really proud when they finish their projects & it's really fun to watch them grow and slowly start to go from messy scribbling to making real works of art!

The kids have painted toad houses, ladybugs, caterpillars, leaves, wooden pumpkins & santas, snowflakes & snowmen. They are learning to get their hands dirty & work with different types of media & follow instructions (often with help from mom!) They love to explore the garden & outdoors, jumping in the leaves, exploring the fairy garden & having fun with their new artist friends.

 They often get to explore the garden and meet lots of critters face to face. We've been visited by plenty of toads, frogs & slugs. Also baby birds, snakes, walking sticks, butterflies & spiders. 

 The fish have now moved INSIDE since the weather has gotten too cold for them, but they are loving their new aquarium . The kids get to visit them and feed them often. Little Hoppy the tiny tree frog is also still kicking inside in his little enclosure! Who knows what other critters we will meet this year!
